Hangzhou
Hangzhou is home to some of China’s biggest technology companies. The eastern city is the capital of Zhejiang province. It has been called China’s answer to “Silicon Valley” and is home to internet giants such as Alibaba Group Holding, NetEase and Kuaidi Dache. The city’s booming economy is based largely on technology startups, which has made Hangzhou an attractive destination for young graduates and global talent.

STARTUP ECOSYSTEM
Hangzhou as a startup hub, is one of the most tech-ready hubs in China. According to research by HexGn, total funding in Hangzhou tech companies has amounted to US$1.6billion. A strong technology infrastructure in the city has led to many innovation hubs launched in the last few years. Crunchbase estimates the city has at least 444 startups headquartered in the city.
